Akai Blues Overdrive |
![]() |
Overdrive pedals may be difficult to master, however, with only two knobs Blues Overdrive allows guitarists to easily dial in a precise combination of volume and overdrive effect. Subtle adjustments allow guitarists to sculpt a tone that is customized to their rig, band or specific song. Warm up your sound, add some grit and play with the emotion-stirring Blues Overdrive from Akai Professional’s Analog Custom Shop. | £69 |
Akai Chorus |
![]() |
Chorus can be set to achieve a variety of effects ranging from a multiple
guitar sound to fast-repeat staccato attacks. Dialing in the desired effect
is accomplished by adjusting three onboard knobs. Tone controls the frequency
from low to high, Speed changes the rate at which the repetition occurs
and Spread sets the spatial dynamics of the effects sound. The Rate Switch
provides an extra level of control adding fast and slow repetition control.
Akai Professional’s Analog Custom Shop Chorus adds natural sounding, clear adjustable accompaniment for a unique sound. |
£69 |
Akai Compressor |
![]() |
With just two knobs, Analog Custom Shop’s Compressor provides precise control over the input signal resulting in a more balanced overall output. Level controls how much of the compression effect is applied while Sensitivity determines when the effect kicks in. Careful adjustments between these two parameters results in signal clarity not otherwise achievable. | £69 |
Akai Deluxe Distortion |
![]() |
Deluxe Distortion’s EQ mode toggle-switch provides detailed tone
control with a choice of Modern, Normal or Classic. The Modern setting provides
a scooped-mid tone recognizable as a cornerstone of the hard rock and heavy
metal guitar sound. Normal passes the input frequency directly to the distortion
effect while the Classic setting boosts mid-tone for an enhanced, warm tone
reminiscent of classic rock.
Dir Rec switch provides emulation of amplifier power and speaker perfect for direct input to a mixer, DAW or other amplification or recording device. Gain is highly adjustable with the Fat, Boost, Warm tone Tri-Mode toggle-switch enabling soaring leads, lush chords and satisfying rhythm tones. Tone may be further adjusted using the six precision knobs and High Cut toggle-switch. Deluxe Distortion is powered by the included 9-volt battery or 9v AC adapter (sold separately). |

Akai Drive3 Distortion |
![]() |

Akai Flanger |
![]() |
At first glance Flanger looks a breeze but once explored reveals a perfect
storm of sound. The Rate knob sets how often the oscillation effect waveform
repeats as well as the resulting pitch and depth of the signal. Depth sets
the intensity of the flange effect, ranging from a mellow stir to an intense
swirling maelstrom. Manual and Res work in combination to both delay and
increase the intensity of the overall effect.
In the right hands, Flanger unlocks a key to the instantly recognizable, cradle-rocking sound of 80’s hard rock. |
£69 |
Akai Fuzz |
![]() |
Tri-Mode Fuzz’s Tri-Mode toggle-switch provides a wide variety of fuzz sounds. Akai Phase Shifter |
![]() |
Phase Shifter provides an instantly recognizable swirling sound. The Rate knob sets how often the oscillation effect waveform repeats as well as the resulting pitch and depth of the signal. The A and B frequency toggle-switches can be set in four different ways. Combining these four settings with subtle changes to the Rate knob results in a range of lush, atmospheric ambience that swirls around as much or as little as desired. | £69 |

Markbass Super Booster |
![]() |
Superb Bass FX pedal which includes the Markbass filters (VLE and VPF) featured on all Markbass combos. The VLE (Vintage loudspeaker emulator) cuts out the higher frequencies for a mellower tone. The VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter) 'boosts' the high and low frequencies and cuts out the mid, which is rather good for slap and flatpick styles. These are triggered with the Filters on/off switch. Then there's the level boost which is handy for choruses, solos etc. The superbooster can also be used as an active DI box with ground lift. We have one in stock on sale at £128. | £128 |
MXR Blue Box |
This unassuming little box shovels out enough low frequencies to scare a blue whale. It takes your guitar signal, fuzzes it up, then duplicates it two octaves down. You control the output and the mix between the dry signal and the effect. Using it 100% wet is quite an experience, but more recognizable sounds appear as you dial in more dry signal. The Blue Box is known for having a chaotic personality that can make each session a totally unique experience! Controls: Footswitch toggles effect On/Bypass (red LED indicates on) • Output knob controls total output gain • Blend knob adjusts ratio of dry (clean) with wet (effects) signal. | £79 |
